Alkawell is a portable appliance which produces alkaline-reduced mineral water. Alkaline-reduced water is made by Maha-Q and minerals. When these Maha-Q and minerals are activated, they enrich the water with active hydrogen and minerals.
What is Alkaline-Reduced Water?
When water is electrolyzed (+ - electrodes) Alkaline and Acidic Water are produced. They are created simultaneously, 70% Alkaline Water and 30% Acidic Water. Both waters have exceptional properties and benefits, however, their uses are different.
Alkaline water is used for drinking and has wonderful properties. First of all, it is alkaline, meaning that has pH in the range between 8 and 10. Tab water or distilled water has a pH of 7. By drinking alkaline-reduced water, we help to neutralize the acidic wastes that have built up in the body. We are also restoring the body to its slightly alkaline state, which is the ideal condition to maintain optimal health and prevent disease. Cancer and other degenerative diseases develop in a body that has become overly acidic.
The second and most amazing property of alkaline-reduced water is its antioxidant properties, which neutralize free radicals. Alkaline-reduced water contains hydroxyl ion with an overabundance of electrons, which can be easily donated to neutralize free radicals. This is like taking Anti-oxidant vitamins and minerals in the water you drink.
Regular water consists of cluster of 10 to 13 molecules that have an irregular shape. Alkaline-reduced water has clusters of 5 to 6 water hexagonal-shape molecules which are more easily absorbed and able to saturate body tissues. Alkaline-reduced water is six times more hydrating than regular water. The smaller clusters also are able to scavenge free radicals with greater ease, increasing its antioxidant properties. Alkaline-reduced water also improves the detoxification qualities of water because of its improved hydration of body tissues. One of the interesting aspects of human aging is that our body cells become more dehydrated with age, even if a person is drinking adequate amount of water. The smaller clusters of Alkaline-reduced water help to hydrate our body cells more efficiently.
How to use your Alkawell water reducing system
1. Wash and flush
Wash out the container using the included detergent prior to first use. (See below for "How to wash with the detergent")
2. Pour water
Open the lid and the upper body, then pour drinkable water into the vessel.
3. Wait 5 minutes
During this process, you'll see a cloud of tiny bubbles floating to the surface of the water. This is active hydrogen. Active hydrogen is released when the water is activated with natural minerals.
4. Drink the alkaline reduced water
Now the water is ready for consumption. The recommended minimum daily dosage of Alkawell water is about 2,000ml (4 bottles of Alkawell).
5. Rinse the bottle and mineral container
Rinsing the bottle and the mineral container separately once a day will ensure that the bottle remains clean.
How to wash with the detergent
1. Pour water
Fill the bottle until the water covers the mineral container.
2. Wash with detergent
Use one spoonful of detergent and shake it about 10 to15 seconds until you see bubbles forming.
(Vinegar can be used as a detergent.)
3. Rinse the bottle
Rinse the vessel two or three times with tap water.
(The Maha-Q will have changed into a bright silver color just like the very first time it was used.)
4. Recommended washing time is under 30 seconds.
Washing longer than 30 seconds could decrease the life span of the minerals.
5. Wash the bottle once a week
Washing the bottle with the detergent once a week is strongly recommended.

Dissolving thirst quickly
Because the particles in alkaline-reduced water are smaller than that of normal water, the body is able to absorb it more readily causing quick hydration. It is especially recommended for athletes. Drink a glass of alkaline-reduced water in the morning to ensure a proper start for the day.
Making coffee and tea
Alkaline-reduced water causes the tea to be extracted quickly from the tea bag so you can enjoy enriched tea. This works just as well with cold water allowing you to enjoy iced green tea or iced coffee.
Boiling vegetables
The use of alkaline-reduced water when boiling vegetables will help the vegetable to keep its natural color and taste.
Cooking rice
Alkaline-reduced water makes cooked rice glutinous and glossy.
Making powdered milk
Mixing powdered milk with alkaline-reduced water will help a baby's bowel movement.
Watering plants
The rich minerals promote plants' growth.
Feeding pets
Alkaline-reduced water decreases some pet odors.
Notice
1. Use purified water. Unpurified water could decrease the life span of the minerals.
2. It is natural for the color of the silver coating on the mineral container to change when it comes in contact with the water.
3. When Alkawell is not in use, separate the mineral container from the vessel. Wash and carefully dry it. This will ensure that it remains in good condition.
4. Show caution when washing the mineral container's fiber net. It can be damaged easily.
5. You will be able to see fine powder on the bottom of the vessel when in use. The powder, which is a blend of natural minerals, is harmless to the body. (Rinse it once a day.)
6. Sometimes after drinking, you may feel a need to frequently urinate. This is a natural symptom.Alkaline- reduced water returns our body condition back to its normal state.As a result, drinking Alkawell water will promote urination.
7. Clean the bottle using a soft sponge
